Doing It with Nodes: Design Patterns in Healthcare Education Standards and SpecificationsThe idea of design patterns in programming and information science is concerned with the identification, development and use and reuse of common models and structures across a number of domains. This presentation will consider some of the design patterns emerging from the work of standards and specifications developers both within MedBiquitous and beyond. In particular, we will consider common patterns such as cyclic and acyclic graphs, node frameworks, trees, references and IDs, and services and will set out a more effective and accessible way for participants to understand, use and help develop healthcare education standards and specifications.
