MedBiquitous Releases Healthcare Professional Profile Standard

MedBiquitous is pleased to announce the release of the Healthcare Professional Profile, ANSI/MEDBIQ PP.10.1-2008. The standard will make it easier for regulatory bodies and health care institutions  to catch fraudulent practitioners and recognize those claiming the highest levels of qualifications. The Healthcare Professional Profile provides a standard XML format for profile data on healthcare professionals, making it easier to exchange and compile profile data across organizations. This in turn allows for faster credentialing of professionals and faster availability of accurate credentials data to the public. Implementation Forums

MedBiquitous has launched implementation forums to address the questions you may have in implementing MedBiquitous standards. There is a forum for general questions and forums focused on Healthcare LOM and the Professional Profile respectively. The forums will be monitored by MedBiquitous staff and by MedBiquitous working groups, so you can be sure to benefit from those with implementation experience.
