Call for Abstracts

Have you implemented MedBiquitous standards? Are you using technology to improve the way your organization delivers learning and assessment or to coordinate across the health professions? We want to hear about it! The MedBiquitous Executive Committee is seeking high-quality abstracts for half-day workshops, panel presentations, and technology demonstrations for a wide range of conference topics related to innovative technologies for healthcare education, including e-learning, e-portfolios, standards implementation, social networking, virtual patients, and much more. The MedBiquitous Annual Conference takes place April 28-30, 2009 in Baltimore, Maryland. Visit the online Call for Abstracts for details and online abstract submission.

The MedBiquitous Healthcare Professional Profile was highlighted in a recent news article from ANSI, the American National Standards Institute. The article, titled Voluntary Standards Cover the Spectrum: from Recreational Boating to Healthcare Professional Profiles , emphasized the importance of credentials verification in ensuring consumers receive high quality healthcare in everyday life and in response to natural disasters and other emergencies. MedBiquitous welcomes JHPIEGO as a new member. JHPIEGO is an international non-profit health organization that empowers front-line health workers by designing and implementing effective solutions to strengthen the delivery of health care services for women and their families.
