MedBiquitous is the data standards program of the AAMC, uniquely bringing together the international health professions education (HPE) institutional community, including the industry partners and organizations that support it. The program offers several services including technical data standards, data definitions, vocabulary lists, community engagement and educational resources. Access to MedBiquitous is available through our participation model and includes benefits such as:

  • Access to community engagement opportunities and communications including webinars, Program Updates, and other live and recorded presentations, and the MedBiquitous newsletter.

  • Access to virtual communities, which provide space for professionals with interests in data, artificial intelligence (AI), educational technology, emerging technology, and more. The communities foster network building, facilitate question and answer discussions and shared resources, as well as provide curated resource bundles and library collections.

  • Eligibility to serve on the MedBiquitous Steering Committee, Technical Advisory Group and various working groups.

  • Access to MedBiquitous technical standards, including input and voting rights related to modifications, new standards, updates and more – before they are made available publicly.

  • Opportunities to propose and sponsor projects and initiatives.

  • Exercise voting privileges to impact standards projects.
