Simulation-Based Assessment Working Group
Bring together representatives from across the Health Professions Education (HPE) continuum to develop a vision, create standards, and recommend resources to help institutions increase and advance the utilization of simulation-based assessment of learners.
The Simulation-Based Assessment Working Group developed resources to support effective, evidence-informed assessment practices across health professions education. Its resources provide shared terminology, research, best-practice guidance, and real-world examples to help educators and institutions strengthen simulation-based assessment.
This working group brings together representatives from across the Health Professions Education (HPE) continuum to develop a vision, create standards, and recommend resources to help institutions increase and advance the utilization of simulation-based assessment of learners. Representatives across health professions, professional organizations, and industry ensure the broad applicability of this work. Health professions representatives include those from medicine (MD and DO representatives), nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy, and others.
